Spiral baffles are based on rapid plug and unplug technology that simplifies and speeds up the machining of seats with regard to assembly and disassembly procedures of mould cooling components. The spiral pattern ensures a uniform temperature throughout the entire surface and it also fosters a turbulent flow that allows for greater heat release. Thanks to the broad dimensional range you will find the standard solution that fits your application.
We advise using set F baffles whenever the required tolerance (0/+0.1 mm) of the cooling channel is met and the surface quality is sufficient to guarantee the O-ring sealing.
